We temporarily freeze pipes so that maintenance operations can be carried out safely.
Cryogenic plugs make it possible to change blocked or leaking valves, or modify installations without having to drain the system. An industrial plant can be several kilometers long, and the quantities of liquid that would have to be drained can represent several tens of thousands of meters.³ .
We work with maintenance managers and operatives, pipe fitters, heating engineers, refrigeration and air-conditioning specialists, new works managers, building owners and property managers.

The heating networks have aged and no preventive maintenance has been carried out. Now it's time to replace the faulty valves, which would mean draining the heating networks of several buildings at the same time. Cryogenic plugs keep the whole system charged.
Armed fire valve (RIA)
RIA maintenance is facilitated by the temporary use of cryogenic plugs for valve changes and network modifications. A deluge valve can be changed without draining the system, in just a few hours.
Local authorities
Hospitals are installing the latest generation of medical imaging equipment, which needs to be added to existing chilled water networks. By fitting a cryogenic plug upstream and downstream of a network, a tee can be installed without draining the system. The operation can be completed in less than 6 hours.
Water syndicates
In 2020, there were over 20,000 public water and wastewater utilities in France. Many unions manage wastewater treatment plants with digesters built without valves; with cryogenic piping, it only takes a few hours to install a valve.
